On my way back to New York City! It’s going to be so much fun having a full day of auditions tomorrow after taking the red eye…but that is the price you pay for having fun.
Cabo was pretty great…we had a major influx of family and for the first time in Cabo history…a little toddling about baby!
Of course, it was a true holiday…filled with calorie overload, too much sun and not as much exercise as was planned.
I was pretty good though….only got thoroughly intoxicated two nights of the ten. New Year’s resolutions definitely include a strict limit on drinking. I enjoy it so much…until I wake up the next morning. The rest of the mornings I walked to the beach and had an early swim….one morning I took the truck and brought Martha (my parents’ dog) to the beach for some serious dog chasing frisbee into the surf action.
I was able to go fishing twice…both trips pretty successful. The Marlin luck struck again and I caught a striped Marlin. What a workout! My shoulders were killing me. The day before yesterday I went fishing with my Uncle Joel and he caught a nice-sized dorado. That thing was flopping around in the boat and spraying us with bloody water! NICE.
Hmmm…other Cabo news? Keeping with the tradition of meeting someone whenever I leave New York, thought I met a cool penpal type dude the first night there but he turned out to be a jerk. What else is new???
Happy New Year!
