Went to Sacramento a few weeks ago. Saw Guinness and Angie’s adorable little baby. Played the Wii. Tried to buy a Wii in New York and no one has it. SO annoying.
Saw lots of old friends and had a nice time. Smooshed my nephew Baz and can’t wait to smoosh him again in May.
Okay. I saw Grindhouse and it was my favorite movie of the year!!! It was fantastic…hilarious, clever and a complete surprise. I organized an event on Saturday where a few of us met up at a local dive bar off of Times Square and saw the 10:45 showing of Grindhouse at AMC 42. That’s right, Times Square movie theater. Normally this is the opposite of what I would ever do…the movie theater is always filled with the rudest audiences. But for Grindhouse, it is perfect. It is such a rush to feel an audience completely freak out during a movie.
For some reason, this movie is not doing well. I know, it’s 3 hours and incredibly violent, but it is still one of the best things I’ve seen in a long while. The most fun.
